Rosenberg, Texas, about 35 miles southwest of Houston, is one of the last two operating towers in Texas still in their original buildings. BNSF crosses UP's busy Sunset Route, making for some colorful and busy railroading. Both UP & BNSF have small yards here, with locals, and orders are hooped up to trains going from the BNSF to the UP.
